Re: Any info about French-versions of OS/2 1.x/2.0
I think, it's Zenith OS/2 1.21 in English. Can you made disk images?
I want research it version. I have been looking for this for a very long time.
I think, yes. Can you sent to me disk images, i can testing it.Sais-tu comment reconnaitre une version française simplement en visualisant les fichiers?
Also, another variants for checking:
– SYSLEVEL.OS2 (from Disk1). French-version must have CSD ID XRF**** or XRC**** (i think, must be F – France, i don't sure, that exist C – Canadian French of 1.x), but it's don't always correct.
– You can booting from Install-disk. If this French-version, you are get french messages.
– You can view *.MSG files from Install disk.

Re: Any info about French-versions of OS/2 1.x/2.0
I author of one old software research project.
OS/2 1.x/2.0 is my main interest. I am try searching any info about unknown versions (OEMs, localizations, variants).
Many info is permanent losted. It's very sad.
Also, very few peoples interesting OS/2.
I try document the information that I manage to find.
OEM versions are very interesting, because. include unique drivers, utilities.
Some international versions have strange bugs. Etc.
Also, I'm working on compiling a chronology of minor releases.

Re: Any info about French-versions of OS/2 1.x/2.0
fneck, Thank you very much for the provided materials!
I at don't home (yet). But i will testing it today (in later).
I also checked this packages with my smartphone.
Yes, it's French package (1.10 Extended) and Zenith package (1.21 Standard).
French 1.10 include unique bootsector.
Zenith 1.21 include standard IBM 10.2 bootsector.
Your disks without errors?
About 2.10. I'm interesting this version. I have files from OS/2 International CD (In it's disk includen european-versions of OS/2 2.1).
I think, real version must be have small differents.
If you can archive it, that would be great.
For info: English OS/2 exist in two variants: English-UK and English-US. Many English-variants also losted.
I could show you my page, but I'm not sure if you can post links to third-party resources here.

Re: Any info about French-versions of OS/2 1.x/2.0
It's no fatal a problem. I can use Disk4 from another copy of OS/2 2.1 fr.ça va pas bien marcher.
Also, incomplete copy is better, than none a copy .
OS/2 2.0 FR is cool disks! I hope, that your disks is readable.
OS/2 1.0 EE. It looks amazing! In internet available OS/2 1.0 EE US-version. Your disks is English-UK. I didn't think they released it for the British. UK-version must be have small differents (copyright, keyboard drivers, readme files, may be another).
Also, i have heard, that 1.0 EE released only in English, no another International-versions.
1.0 SE was be localized to european languages and Japanese.
SE (Standard Edition) was be system for clients.
EE (Extended Edition) was be additional system for servers. EE include additional communication software:
– Communication Manager
– Database Services
– Query Manager
– LAN Requester.
You can use EE like SE without any problem.
